Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is a stunning actress who has left a lasting impression in the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. The family moved to Texas in pursuit of a career as physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved back to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films and worldwide commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion for acting despite the small roles. She moved to New York and in 2001 she was offered her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004 she was cast in her debut series role on The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza played Maria Serrano and was paired with the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. Then she joined the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The particular character garnered De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on an upcoming drama series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. It was put on hold after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano was able to begin her career at seven when her babysitter was with her on an audition in the acting field. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen among only four girls. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off-Broadway plays and in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
